Two years ago the OHA renamed its golf tournament in honour of one of Kincardine’s finest…all funds raised will be donated to the Kincardine & Community Health Care Foundation

Cambridge, ON – Kincardine Golf Club in beautiful Kincardine, ON, will host the event this year. One of Canada’s oldest golf courses , Kincardine Golf Club is a semi-private, nine hole course steeped in tradition. The course measures about 3,000 yards and offers a challenge for all levels of golfers. If you are a golf history buff, it is a must play.

For many years, Doug Kennedy was a driving force raising funds for the Kincardine & Community Health Care Foundation. As well, he played a pivotal role raising $10 million dollars as part of a capital campaign
The Kincardine hospital has not seen a major upgrade in 35 years. The funds raised will support the new Emergency Department, laboratory and comprehensive Medical Imaging Unit, including the installation of an MRI. This expansion will double the footprint of critical services offered within the hospital, providing better service and the newest technologies to our growing population.”
Doug Kennedy was a major contributor. So much so, that they named the fracture clinic after him
