KINCARDINE TO HOST THE 2024 OHA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

For the first time, the OHA will host its AGM in ‘Ontario’s Scottish Destination on Lake Huron’

Cambridge, ON – The 135th edition of the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) will occur at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, ON June 14-15, 2024.

In addition to the meeting, the event will also include a golf tournament, OHA Awards ceremony, and some special guests.

 “The OHA is extremely proud of its longstanding connection with members and communities across Ontario, a relationship that traces its roots to 1890,” said OHA Board of Directors Chair Marc Mercier. “The OHA looks forward to hosting its 2024 AGM in the beautiful community of Kincardine and working closely with 2022 OHA Gold Stick recipient Doug Kennedy and the rest of the local organizing committee as we celebrate all of the great things going on within junior and senior hockey in Ontario.”

About the Ontario Hockey Association

The Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) was founded on November 27, 1890, and is the governing body for the majority of Junior and Senior hockey in the Province of Ontario.  The OHA is a Member Partner of the Ontario Hockey Federation which is one of thirteen Provincial and Regional Branches of Hockey Canada. 

It is comprised of three Junior hockey leagues and two Senior hockey leagues: Junior A – Ontario Junior Hockey LeagueJunior B – Greater Ontario Junior Hockey LeagueJunior C – Provincial Junior Hockey LeagueSenior  – Allan Cup Hockey (AAA) and Ontario Elite Hockey League (AA). For the 2023-24 season, these five leagues encompass 125 teams.
