Trevor Tinney

Born and raised in Campbellford, Ontario. Continue to reside and work in Campbellford.

Have worked for Parks Canada/Trent Severn Waterway as a Operator/Supervisor for the past 35 years. Looking towards retirement from the Watereay within the next year.

First became involved with Coaching minor Hockey while playing at the same time. After winning 3 Ontario championships with Midget and Juvenile teams I was part of a small group that started a Jr C team in Campbellford. I was named the first Coach and GM of the Jr C Rebels. After 5 seasons and 2 League Champs I moved on to become the Convener of the Eastern Jr C. I was appointment to the OHA Board a few short years later. Have been re-elected to the Board since that time.

It has been a great pleasure and a honor to sit as a Board Member for many years. I take pride in the work the Board does for all its members. It takes a different perspective to see all the different issues from Senior and all the different Jr Leagues and as Board Members we need to try to do what is best for all Members.

Going from a GM to Convener to Board Member you see things in such a different perspective from each position that I have held.

The people and friendships that I have made over the years being a part of the OHA will last a life time.

My wife Jane and family have always supported me in all the time I have spent being involved in the game I love. I can never thank them enough.
