The OHA, as part of its Coach Development programme, is pleased to announce the opening of registration for its summer 2025 Development 1 (D1) Coach Clinic.
This is a coach’s initial step to pursuing NCCP/Hockey Canada D1 Certified status.

Cambridge, ON – Registration for the clinic includes an on-demand module, part of the Hockey Canada Learning Lab. The on-demand module provides coaches with the flexibility to complete the requirements at their convenience. The second part of the D1 Clinic is a traditional in-person day that includes classroom and on-ice development.
The OHA D1 Clinic is delivered within a junior hockey context and is appropriate for coaches who will be active with any OHA junior or senior team for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
Any coach of a team in the GOJHL, PJHL, Allan Cup Hockey or OEHL who are, or will be fulfilling the role of Head Coach, must be D1 Certified. It is strongly encouraged that any assistant coach in the OHA pursue their D1 Training and Certification.
